Earthquakes today

Recall my error in interpreting WD Gann's encoded messages found in "The Tunnel Thru the Air;" a catastrophic earthquake for about February 23, 2016.  The largest California earthquake of 2016 did occur on that day Wasco (about 1 hour south of San Francisco and 2 northwest of LA) but, at 4.9M, did not cause an substantial damage and was hardly noticeable in SF or LA.

I was wrong in my interpretation of Mr. Gann's work.  However, there are two components on the error; the what and the when.  On the former, I haven't any doubt;  Southern California and, ultimately, much greater.  There are very deep and unconvincing (or is that inconclusive) encoded messages concerning the Cascadia subduction (from about 200 miles north of San Francisco to deep into northern Canada) and Yellowstone.  On the latter, I haven't any opinion but on the former, Southern California, I am convinced Mr. Gann was giving a warning to our generation.

On the "when," my primary suspicion of February 23, 2016 is toast.  I find, again, unconvincing clues that May 9 (the first date in the book and one which has other significance) might be noteworthy and October 19, 2016 as well.

The "where" without the "when;" about what you get from the market crash experts.  In the expanse of time, you'll ultimately get it right.

So last week, yesterday and today there have been numerous large earthquakes in Burma, Japan and Vanuatu.  You can get the latest 24-hour US and world USGS earthquake map at HERE.

As well, last week a friend emailed me a news story on Yellowstone's USGS public seismic feeds being taken off-line.  In response to my email to the USGS Yellowstone website, the listed lead scientist actually responded to my inquiry, completely and credibly pooh poohing the rumor that there was an ulterior motive to the public seismic feed discontinuance.  He really took a lot of time with me as if I were important.  Wow, what is a government to do if the prudent thing to do is to evacuate every person within 500 miles of Yellowstone on a heightened projection of a seismic event?

Now a week later there seems to be other things "going on" and one was picked up by New York Superstation95.  For one, a volcanic steam vent has opened up below a Yellowstone river.  As well, I've been watching the USGS Yellowstone and University of Utah monitoring sites and it seems there's been an uptick in earthquakes.  I haven't quantified that; it just appears that way.  These are very very minor tremors. But in a super volcano zone, if true, it wouldn't seem to be a "good thing."

I'll add one more site to the above 3; Michael Janitch.  He's a loose cannon who thinks he's got a feel for the way seismic activity propagates from west to east across the world.  From what he's demonstrated in his videos, he seems to have an instinctive, if not factual, basis for his work.  I sympathize with all the loose cannons out there.  So, if there's a sizable Pacific Ocean event

I haven't a clue if any of the above is significant nor am I concentrating anything other than idle time (when I'm not working on TTTTA) in the pursuit.  If you're interested, above are 4 links to good real-time information.  I am, however, happily living on the east rather than west coast.

  1. Romeman found this and put it in a Gann group. It has in it:

"Vibration is fundamental; nothing is exempt from this law; it is universal, therefore applicable to every class of phenomena on the globe."

Written in 1907. The writing doesn't seem like Gann's style, Romeman suggests that it was known by Gann.

  2. 168 pages? You have got to be kidding. Are you kidding me?

    1. I don't need to kid you. Same number as the deaths of the Oklahoma City Bombing.

    2. Of course, not to mention the 168-year MOT, number of hours in a week....

  3. Whew, Japan has gotten what looks like the number of >5M earthquakes in 2 days that might otherwise take a year to accumulate. And its not letting up tonight. Of course, Japan is very earthquake prone. Seems to be working southeast to Vanuatu and northeast to Alaska.... west to east as Michael Janitch says.

  5. Try subtracting 168 from 9/11. See what you get.

    12643 - 168 = 12475

    12475 falls on October 12, 2000

  6. 7.4 earthquake hit Ecuador less than an hour ago. These last several days of earthquakes appears to have relation back to the 7.8 that hit Indonesia on March 2. According to Janitch' theory, earthquakes propagate west to east. Japan was next up east, Vanuatu further east and then Ecuador just minutes ago. No reports on the impact as yet. There was a minor Hawaiian earthquake today, again eastward of Japan but its significance is that it struck close to an active volcano. As well, it appears to this layman that Alaskan activity picked up.

A nuance of Janitch theory of eastward 'vibrations' of earthquakes is that a Pacific earthquake moving east will result in a Pacific Coast event of at least one order of magnitude greater.

  7. It might interest you to know that the March9 SE was in the second decan of Pisces. This decan according to Lilly and Bartolet (probably quoting Lilly or Sepharial) says "Causes the death of some men...and/or causes of earthquakes". Now you just need to work out the trigger. Could be Mercury in this case I think which aspected the Jup/Sat square early today. Jup was exact opp to the SE.

    1. Good morning George,

Which one of the 1.3M earthquakes per year?

The largest earthquake was March 2, 2016 in Indonesia and since the larger earthquakes have, as Janitch, been rumbling eastward to Japan, then to Vanuatu and now around the Pacific Rim to Ecuador. The apparent (my subjective doubtable characterization) increased earthquake activity in Alaska is also the eastward movement. The scary thing would be a sizable Hawaiian earthquake as Janitch says a mid Pacific quake will result in a subsequent quake (presumably the coast, i.e. CA coast) of one magnitude greater.

Been down the astro road before. I'll stay down the math road because math drives the planets. Much less subjective IMO. On the other side, if you can't make either work, what does objectivity matter? Hehehe

    2. I think you are being just a little unnecessarily brusque Jim. Clearly the point of the ancients suggesting the 2nd Deccan of Pisces causes earthquakes meant major ones. I think the Japan and Ecuador ones would be deemed major with serious loss of life...Most of the time, nearly every earthquake over a year is, or could be considered insignificant.

    3. You are right as I re read it. I apologize and wish I could separate my frustration with my ability to figure things out as opposed to the helping hands others try to give to me.

    1. Oh I noticed the 77 and your discussion of 7X77. I did not notice the 84. And what do you find on page 84 of TTTTA. He cites the scripture defining the measurement of day and night and then laments his wonderment that people will not study the Bible "to understand the signs and discern the future and profit by it."

Of course, 84X2 = 168, is half the MOT period, the hours in one week and 1/15th of a Great Week.

  9. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/7-8-magnitude-earthquake-hits-near-ecuador-s-coast-usgs-n557181

    77 killed. 588 injured. 77 divided by 7 gives you 11.Divide 588 by 7 you get 84.

    3. Interesting. I wish I had a better background in seismic activity. I've only been looking at this stuff for 2 months or so and its hard for me to be at all comfortable that I have a perspective on what, if anything, is going on. Is it unique or am I just seeing what is "normal" for the first time?

    4. Earthquake swarm at Hebgen Lake, 14 miles NW of Yellowstone. A similar swarm in Yellowstone had people on edge in 2015 and Hebgen was the site of a 7.5M. The swarm is considered by Janitch as the eastward 'vibration' of last week's Indonesia, Japan and Vanuatu quakes.
