A brief diversion from the drudgery of the numbers.
Given a kernel of truth, errr not quite a whole kernel, my imagination took me to many places. Walter Kennelworth's last name was the suggestion of Kenilworth Castle, one of, if not the oldest of English castles and site of many great battles. Claire Douglass was part Sinclair (two letters removed from Sir William St Clair and the Clan Sinclair of Rosslyn Chapel) and part Sir James Douglas (one 's'). Sir James Douglas in 1329 was charged with the oath to the dying Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, to convey his heart, upon death, in a crusade to Jerusalem for burial there.
I did find a Sir James Ross and I did find an Irish family name "Gann" as well but have not traced lineages. I've not researched it further than to take note of "Dna" contiguous with several permutations of the initials of WD Gann:
That flippant notion hasn't any relevance but names do have relevance; for sure, Luo Clement would tell us that as emphatically as WD Gann, hmmm. As another example, Edna Quinton...might Quinton be rearranged and respelled to give us "Tonkin" as the August 7, 1964 tragic "path to war," the "Gulf of Tonkin" resolution that informally declared war on North Vietnam.
Yes, names are important. The leadership of World War II is spelled out in the names of the top generals and notable personages of WWII; General Pearson, Captain George Cooper, General Johnson, Admiral Dawson and many others discussed in an essay I wrote on the Leaders of WWII predicted by Mr. Gann by their inclusion in TTTTA. Most dramatic, General Marshal makes a cameo appearance in TTTTA on page 283. You know that name; the "Marshal Plan." Even moreso, Supreme Commander Gordon. The title "Supreme Commander," was not theretofore used in all of military history for any officer until the title was given to Supreme Commander of Allied Forces, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Well, except that WD Gann used it a decade plus before its use in WWII.
Don't forget the composite name of Ryne Douglas Pearson, the author of the fictional work and movie "Knowing" which resulted in the discovery of WD Gann's "Map of Time."
I can go on and on, but one name has alluded my fertile imagination; Marie Stanton. Once I thought she was the herioine in the mythical 9th century Danish love story tragedy 'tocmark emire.' I considered whether she was intended to be a symbol of the Virgin Mary. The notations were plausible but not satisfying. This was a character as important to the themes of TTTTA as her note of June 5 at 3 a.m.
Wandering down that road this morning as a break from number crunching and influenced by commenters that are doing interesting things with anagrams, I put Marie Stanton into an anagram solver and received only a single word as a single word solution; transmeation:
Uses every letter and only once.
I feel very comfortable with that meaning as Mr. Gann's intent. Maybe it is, maybe not. Mr. Gann often had multiple meanings for the same object. But I really like this one at the moment. Again from R.E. Kiser's "After the years - Quiet:"
Jim Ross
I tried several anagram solvers. None of them found the word "transmeation". When I put it into Google for a definition it came back with a link to one that says "(obsolete) The act of transmeating; a passing through or beyond." The key word for me is "Obsolete". I take that to mean it isn't in use anymore. Could it be that "Transmission" replaced it?

Interesting in an of itself that "modern" anagram solvers migrate away from words that were permissible in the past. AS IF, our public is more intelligent now than in the past. When I read centuries old literature I frequently come away the impression "Boy, we really have gotten stupid."
Anyway, transmeation is a word even if obsolete. It has a very deep meaning my view of reading it. It uses every letter and none more than once. Not being an anagrammer, it would seem to be a perfect fit.
And on top of all that, it is the one and only single word that fits the 12 letters. Hmmm, 12.
Transmission would not be close IMO, again, not being an annagrammer.
It is with sadness I recollect having heard the word used long ago (admitting that I'm getting older than dirt). Of course, it would have been one of those authors with a robust knowledge of proper English with a well articulated meaning; Emerson, Doyle, Shakespeare....
Transmeation as in crossing over as in "...man's greatest enemy, Death, will be overcome... " found in the Foreword.
Back to the numbers,

I have to agree with you on us getting stupider. Changing things. Always thinking that the past isn't as good as the now. Changing our language can be a sign of arrogance.
DeleteBringing this down to earth though. I started researching TTTTA as a means to stock market prediction. I'm still look for the math equation I'm sure he had. Although the journey has shown me a lot more important lesson than just money. With that in mind, transmission has certain physics concepts behind it that may be clues to a math equation.
Mr. Gann did write this book with multiple layers of understanding and secrets. Could even be clues to both concepts.
Steve
Think I'll call myself "22" now.
Delete22
Haha. 22. Watch it, I started by trying to find the "hidden" stock market code as well. I've seen so much stuff that I've concluded the best thing to do is go with the flow. Whether its dementia or a "greater power" or a "greater intellect" (I have an opinion on that), the path of least resistance is just to do what feels proper and productive.
DeleteI just discovered a couple math things resulting from the May 9 discovery that are pretty astounding to me. I'll work on a post that seems a bit more productive.
Jim
I'm reading this:
Delete"How to attain success through the strength of vibration : a system of numbers as taught by pythagoras"
Seems like just another self help book. But it was suggested by the author of another book, same author by the way, that this be read before the next. This is one of the authors on the Gann reading list. She has several books there and they are about numerical vibration. Could be I'm wasting my time, but I'm reading them anyways.

"The name of a man exactly as he writes it, either as initials or name entirely written out must be taken to find what the man is now ding-the plane on which he is living."
ReplyDeleteGoes to Mr. Gann's use of "WD"

Early on I did read L Dow Balliet and thought to myself, "This sounds a lot like Luo." Right down to colors and tones. And, as I recall, both are Pythagorean... Balliet's first books seem to have been earlier (1905) vs Luo's (1908). Perhaps relating personal vibration to the "curve of the future" was the great 1908 discovery. Errr, that's my theory on the 1908 discovery. Maybe Mr. Gann reprised Balliet's work just to make his work complete under his name or pen name.
DeleteJim
Surely, if Luo used L. Dow Balliet's work he would have attributed to it:

[There is a second instance of "dow" BTW. Do read the narratives.]
Jim
Yes, my current thought is he used page number and other things to make his book, Clement's, work in time-space with TTTTA. He just rewrote Balliet's books and coded it to a certain vibration. Why else would Clement's book come into the light at this time? It's significant in figuring out Mr. Gann's secrets. It's not on his reading list. Balliet's could have done the job. Her books are even listed on his reading list. But he felt the need to write his own. I don't see enough difference between them other than who wrote them.
DeletePerhaps and exclamation note on the importance of the information.

Wow, look at that number: 11881 with O1 coded on the line.
DeleteActs 2:17 really is striking for me.
Steven (22)
Ha ha, there it is in the second screen shot. "Read" just above "Balliett".
DeleteMakes me wonder if he wrote them all.

Yes, "O1." You will find O and 1-9 on every other page because "Or Looking Back from 1940" is on every other page.
DeleteHOWEVER, there are many suspicious cases of a letter and number together like that. As if a game board. As if there is a coordinate system of locations but in square format as opposed to a Descartesian GPS coordinate format.
Recall in "Knowing" Professor Koestler found first 9/11/01 and 2996 (number of deaths that day. Later he found that the 8 numbers after the 2996 were the GPS coordinates of where it would occur. I believe the unique letter and number in many cases will be the location of the predicted event.
Jim
I went through about 1/4 of the book writing down the letter number codes. Didn't see a pattern. Which makes me think your better suited to finding it.

I have done that exercise with MANY series of numbers, acrostics, telestics. Really tedious but you'll see in a forthcoming post the proof of meaning when you have one right. Not the secret but a confirmation you're on the right path. I don't think it is 'time' to know anything more about the seeming letter/number combination at this point. Just going where I go in this thing. Darn, I was hoping to delegate some of my to do list to you.

DeleteI've spent an enormous amount of time on trying to decode the letters. Always questioning what I'm seeing. Found a lot to different things. But there is always a few letters left over. Never absolutely sure of what I find.
ReplyDeleteI know that there are what is called "Mysteries" in this book. The Masons would leave symbols on historical places to show they were there. Mr. Gann has done the same thing.
I believe there is a wealth of knowledge in this. So I keep plodding along. Reading Ballietts books is just taking a break from the tedium.

Not related to an earlier conversation. This evening I was looking at monuments to the Civil War at Arlington Cemetery. Check out the name of the artist that designed this and the quote he chose.

If I recall correctly, it is repeated several times in TTTTA and therefore is to be considered very important (Philo's rules).
Yesterday evening was a very big day for me as well as I might explain later...its complicated.
Jim
Reading about the history of the Civil War made it seem as though the prophecies of the Bible already happened back during that time. If it wasn't for 9/11, I would think we were already in the new age.
DeleteYeah, yesterday took me down a lot of different paths. Very good day.

Recall that the surprise attacks of 9/11 on the right side of the MOT are opposite the April 1863 Grierson raids on the Confederacy.
DeleteGrierson can be argued the turning point of the Civil War as it allowed Grant to stage for Vicksburg and Gettysburg.
Perhaps 9/11 was the turning point for Islam as it was the "call to arms" to 4% of the Muslim "nation." Or, it awakened some of us (excluding our present President) that there was a "War of Terror."
Jim
Which brings me to my current thinking. That the cycles repeat, but not necessarily at the same intensity. The diatonic scale could answer the question of when a repeated cycle is more intense than at another time. Like an earthquake that happens but doesn't do much damage. This time it happens to do a lot more. Like the end of the age. Beginning the new one would start with a shock.
DeleteThe percentage of the population that was lost during the Civil War was unbelievable. I read a paper about the burying of the dead. A monumental task. Burying them. Reburying them in different cemeteries when where they fell wasn't considered proper for the army they belonged to.
Every family was touched by death. It was a commonality for all of America.
Read this and imagine that kind of war in this day and age. With our much larger population.

I think you're exactly right about the severity of earthquakes and other such events; they vary according to the math of the octave. And the beginning of an age; the end of 168 years would be as active as it was in 1848, the Year of Revolutions and the US rapid growth. But, if I am right about the "Biblical Great Week," we are not just at the end of the MOT 168, but a 2520 year period (from the Exile) and possibly two Great Weeks from Enoch's translation.
DeleteI'm pretty sure my direct family on both sides lost members in each of the great wars (Revolution, Civil, WWI and WWII) back to and including the Revolution. Haven't taken time to document but grandparents have told stories. Mother's brother, my uncle, died in the Arizona at Pearl still in his quarters. Grandparents would visit the Hawaii Memorial almost every year until too old. Very sad.
Jim
2 Great Weeks from Enoch. Interesting thought. I was wondering when Atlantis would have gone under. Consider the idea that Atlantis was in existence when Enoch was translated. That the time of Atlantis could have had airplanes. Which, if memory serves, was written about by Mr. Gann. Perhaps Noah's flood happened some time after Enoch. And it took Atlantis down.
DeleteArchaeologists have suggested that human history goes back much farther than that. If we figure out the diatonic math, then we would need to know the beginning of the first Great Week so we can tell which is most severe.
